Abstract

Game, as a concept, is a value that has existed since the past and will continue to exist. Play is characterized as an important work or action, especially for children. The game is an indispensable action, especially in the processes involving the 0-6 age group. Play is a fundamental tool in terms of children's development and achievements. Every child involuntarily expresses that he wants to play. This situation is based on the fact that the child takes direct action without being targeted or targeted, and the desired situations arise in the action taken. Although the game includes all age groups, the understanding and expectations of each age vary. In this context, while play is a necessity for the 0-6 age group, it draws attention as an act of leisure for children from other age groups. Although play is an area that people need in every aspect, it creates different effects for children. Especially in the changing world, children's understanding of play also changes. This situation can also have negative effects on the development of children. In the period when the development is best provided and best shown as a base, children make negative progress with mobile games. Therefore, as an area of influence, progress cannot be achieved in both their physical and spiritual development. Of course, this situation can be prevented and it can be paved the way for children to develop in the direction they should be. In order for this situation to spread in a positive way, more than the children, the parents have a responsibility. If these tasks are fulfilled, the way for basic development will be opened in the child and the child will be able to provide the level that he should be in development. The research examines the development of children's games from the street to the screen using the document analysis method. As a result of the research, it was determined that street games are important for the physical and social development of children. In addition, children's transformative imaginations develop through street games and they can learn to share with their friends. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
