Abstract

Herbs, whose plant parts are used in various forms in both medicine and culinary applications, are susceptible to various harmful organisms during cultivation. These organisms can damage their flowers, leaves, stems, roots, reducing their usability. In Slovenia, herb cultivation is mostly practiced as a supplementary activity on farms or is largely self-sustaining. The cultivation methods mainly adhere to the principles of organic or biodynamic farming. In this article, we present some groups of harmful organisms that are observed to occur more frequently and cause problems in herb cultivation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
