Please Boycott My Country.

Norwegian universities have recently made decisions to cut ties with Israel, which is seen as a manifestation of anti-Zionist sentiment. This article argues that this sentiment is a form of modern antisemitism, rooted in anti-Israel and anti-Western propaganda. The author suggests that a rational conversation about academic boycotts should consider criteria for boycotts in general and focus on the worst states, such as Iran and North Korea. The article proposes that U.S. universities should consider counter-boycotts against foreign universities that attempt to isolate Israel, which could prompt Norwegian students and scholars to critically examine their own biases.
