The article describes several case studies of secondary schools to assess the effectiveness of inclusive practice and attainment. Topics mentioned include the key characteristics of inclusive practice, the benefits of human relationships and shared values, some challenges to inclusion, the key ares of practice, and the role of governance, leadership and culture.
