Abstract

The İmren Erşen Oya Museum, located in Eskişehir, Turkey, is the first museum in the Central Anatolian Region dedicated to textiles. The museum showcases a collection of Oya, a type of lace made from silk or cotton thread. The museum was established with the support of the local government and is housed in a renovated building in the Odunpazarı district. Oya is not only a form of decoration but also a means of communication for women in Anatolia, with different designs and techniques reflecting their feelings and experiences. The museum provides a valuable resource for researchers, historians, and students interested in fashion and textile design. [Extracted from the article]
