PERFIL CLÍNICO, EPIDEMIOLÓGICO E ANTROPOMÉTRICO DE PACIENTES SUBMETIDOS À POLISSONOGRAFIA EM UMA CLÍNICA PRIVADA.

Sleep disorders significantly interfere with the health and quality of life of individuals. Therefore, this study documented the profile and clinical picture of patients submitted to polysomnography in a private clinic. The medical records of 4611 patients between 2007 and 2016 were analyzed. In agreement with the literature, more than 50% of the patients were male and older than 40 years of age. The main finding was snoring, followed by the report of apnea. The main risk factors were obesity and systemic arterial hypertension. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
