Abstract

The article "Impact of Abiotic Factors on Occurrence of Capsule Borer and Sucking Pests in Sesamum" examines the relationship between weather factors and the population dynamics of capsule borer and sucking pests in sesame crops. The study, conducted in Andhra Pradesh, India, found that the incidence of capsule borer was influenced by maximum temperature and relative humidity, with peak occurrence in the 9th and 11th weeks. Leafhopper and whitefly populations were also affected by temperature and humidity. This research provides valuable insights into the impact of abiotic factors on pest populations in sesame crops.
