Abstract

In order to find out the best extraction technology of polyphenols from Daphne kiusiana, ultrasonic-assisted extraction method was used. According to the single factor test, the effects of ethanol volume concentration, solid-liquid ratio, ultrasonic time and ultrasonic temperature on the extraction of polyphenols from Daphne kiusiana were investigated. The response surface optimization of the extraction process of polyphenols from Daphne kiusiana was carried out by Design Expert 11 software. The total antioxidant capacity kit and filter paper method were applied to determine the antioxidant capacity and bacteriostatic property of Daphne kiusiana polyphenols. The results indicated that the optimal process for ultrasonic-assisted extraction of polyphenols from Daphne kiusiana was 1∶34 g/mL of solid-liquid ratio, 56 min of ultrasonic time, and 56 ℃ of ultrasonic temperature. The extraction amount of polyphenols from Daphne kiusiana was 49.672 mg/g. Daphne kiusiana polyphenols had definite total antioxidant capacity, and the bacteriostasis on E. coli and SA.
