Análisis de la política pública dirigida a la población adulta mayor ante la pandemia del Covid-19 en México, Chile y España.

The aim is to analyze how the pandemic produced a State of exception, in which the elderly have become objects of policies instead of subjects of rights in countries such as Mexico, Chile and Spain. Through the review of the population aging processes in these countries, as an unforeseen product of modernity, the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic among the elderly population of the countries in question and the measures taken, as well as some cases at the intra-national level, make visible that political decisions regarding the elderly are based on the valuation of this group in a logic of stratification by age, especially after the first "two waves" of contagion.
