Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the concept of physics for making traditional musical instruments that have become local wisdom, namely Tennong-Tennong musical instruments in Pangkajene Islands District. The method used in this study is qualitative research literature study or literature review with data used sourced from articles relevant to the topic studied. Based on the research conducted, it was obtained that at the stage or process of making musical instruments tennong- tennong several concepts of Physics Science that can be integrated or used when providing Physics Science learning. The concepts contained in the stages of making musical instruments are measurement, force, pressure, potential energy, heat, work and displacement, equilibrium, and sound wave matter. Sound waves in the last stage that can be identified are vibration, wave, sound, resonance, rapid propagation of sound, and reflection of sound. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
