Abstract

It's been almost 2 years since the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the world, including our country, Indonesia. As a form of anticipation of preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the community, the Government has implemented PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) and PPKM (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities) in stages. This has an impact on commercial buildings such as tenants, shopping centers, service offices, commercial offices, shops, etc. Because when the PSBB and PPKM come into effect in an area, only pharmacies and shops selling basic ingredients are allowed to operate, so there are commercial buildings that do not operate until the specified time limit. When a building is not used, there is a possibility that the building will experience some damage or decrease in quality and function, this can endanger users when the building will be used again. Therefore, mitigation needs to be carried out on commercial buildings affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The initial step of mitigation that can be done is to identify the damage that occurs to these buildings, and determine the type of maintenance that is appropriate and then formulate a concept of adaptation of maintenance on these buildings.
