Abstract

Article proposes the mathematical model of vane pumps' noise level depending on the damping characteristics of the power fluid and body material. To combat noise, modeling is performed using the laws of similarity theory, the meaning of which is that, according to the results of a single experiment, quantitative data on the processes occurring in the object under study are obtained. The presence of undisclosed gas in the working fluid has a significant effect on the physical properties of the working fluid, which consist mainly in a decrease in the modulus of elasticity, a decrease in density and an increase in the viscosity of the working medium and therefore affects the resulting acoustic characteristics of the unit. Not taking into account these factors in general leads to an inadequate solution of the mathematical model. It is also necessary to take into account the presence of solid boundaries (pump housing) on the acoustic characteristics of the pump. The article proposes to comprehensively consider the radiating and damping properties of the working fluid and the pump housing on the acoustic output parameters of the plate pump.
