Lugares comunes: Televisión y Telecomunicaciones en México y Brasil.

The objective of this paper is to present a preliminary comparative analysis of the telecommunications and television systems in Mexico and Brazil. We begin by a brief presentation of the economic development problematic in both countries, in an historical perspective. Then, we present the evolution of both markets in the two countries, their organization models, structures and interrelations. Finally, we retake the theme of convergence in order to make explicit the actual situation of interindustrial and international competence in the considered sectors in the two main Latin America economies [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
