Abstract

The recent presidential primaries in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin have shown that both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are still working to gain support from their respective parties. However, Trump's troubles seem to be worse, as a significant percentage of GOP primary voters in Wisconsin cast their ballots for former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who dropped out of the race. This could be a problem for Trump, especially in Wisconsin, a crucial battleground state. On the other hand, Biden also faced a protest vote in Wisconsin, but to a lesser extent. Overall, the primary results indicate potential challenges for both candidates as they try to secure their party's support for the upcoming election. [Extracted from the article]
