Abstract
- This document summarizes the research conducted by Dr. Yang Qin and his team on the design and synthesis of Pt(II)-bisacetylide-containing molecules for use in organic solar cells (OSCs). The researchers propose a new structural design called "roller wheels" that enhances π-π interactions and potentially improves device performance. They successfully synthesize three different "roller wheel" compounds and demonstrate their potential for use in OSCs. The researchers also optimize the construction of bulk heterojunction devices using different solution concentrations, spin-casting conditions, annealing temperature, and duration. They achieve power conversion efficiencies of 5.9% and 3.9% with two of the compounds. The document provides a summary of the researchers' findings and the potential applications of their work.
