Abstract

The article offers information on the widening income gap in Canada, particularly between chief executive officer (CEO) and average workers. It highlights that in 2022, Canada's top CEOs made record-breaking earnings, which is 246 times more than the average worker's wage. This disparity is exacerbated by inflation, as workers' salaries are not keeping up with rising costs.
