Abstract

In the article, the author discusses legal challenges in human rights claims in climate litigation and international environmental law. Among the challenges are causality challenge, extraterritorial challenge, and cross-temporal challenge. Also cited are some high-profile cases like Urgenda Foundation v. State of the Netherlands, and some claims like youth-based claims, Indigenous-based claims, and claims based upon future wellbeing concerns.
