Abstract

This document, titled "In This Issue," provides a summary of several articles published in the journal International Immunology. The first article discusses the reprogramming of T-cell metabolism to enhance T-cell immunotherapy, particularly in the context of solid tumors with an immunosuppressive metabolic microenvironment. The second article focuses on the crystal structure of the C-type lectin receptor CLEC12A and its potential diagnostic and therapeutic implications. The third article explores a novel approach to identify statin-mediated anti-cancer effects by analyzing the effects of inhibiting HMGCR variants on lipid metabolism and immunotherapy. The fourth article investigates the role of glycan-mediated lymphocyte homing in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) and its potential as a therapeutic target in multiple sclerosis (MS). Lastly, the fifth article examines the N-glycosylation of CD155 and its impact on NK cell activation, suggesting that therapeutic antibodies targeting CD155 may be more effective against tumors expressing N105-glycosylated CD155.
