Abstract

In this study, a warehousing system management design was developed using the kanban barcode method to make it easier for operators to recap data on the entry and exit of goods ordered for the procurement of car spare parts at Toko Jaya Utama Muda. The Warehouse Management System design that has been implemented using the kanban barcode method consists of several processes, including: 1) Designing the process for making spare parts orders, 2) Designing the process for sending spare parts to the sales line, and 3) Designing the process for collecting kanban barcode suppliers. After the system design and various processes in the kanban barcode system are known, the equipment and equipment needed are known. Supplies and equipment needed include: 1) Barcode Kanban Card, 2) Delivery Order, 3) Kanban Box, 4) Computer, 5) Barcode Scanner, 6) Delivery Order Printer, 7) Kanban Barcode Printer. In the comparison of the time system used, the comparison of time (ready goods) obtained the results of the time obtained using the new system ±15 minutes and the conventional system ±60 minutes. Meanwhile, in the comparison of the average time (unprepared goods) the results of using the new system are ±50 minutes and the conventional system ±100 minutes. With the warehousing layout, the level of Human Error will be less due to the arrangement of all goods and data collection of all goods on the sales line from the three categories, namely, fast moving, medium moving, slow moving.
