Abstract

The target of these works is to characterize the welding leakage occurring in aluminum radiators. Radiator is a simple air-to water heat exchanger their functions come to help rejecting heat build-up in the exterior air radiator is use to turbo machine for cooling purpose. A radiator consists of a core assembly and a tank. As the welding process is carried out to make tank and pipe fittings, there is a possibility of leakage between the two joints and many imperfections lead to radiator leakage. The welding procedure used considering radiator is Metal-inert-gas welding through be in control of Metal-inert-gas welding variable were investigate to reducing the leakages or use perpetration ourselves get enhancement in welding procedure. SEM results of defective radiator parts are covered in the study. Predicated on the SEM microstructure at different welding current and welding speed hardness test and analysis the cause were founding the corrective conduct are suggested. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
