Abstract

A retrospective cohort study described 11 patients (8 men and 3 women) aged 22-57 years who developed myocarditis after receiving COVID-19 vaccinations. The patients received various vaccines, including AZD-1222, tozinameran, MVC-COV1901, and elasomeran. Symptoms included fever, palpitation, chest pain, and dizziness. Echocardiography and MRI showed abnormalities in left ventricular ejection fraction and cardiac troponin levels were elevated. Treatment with valsartan led to the recovery of left ventricular wall motion in one patient. Follow-up echocardiography showed improved left ventricular ejection fraction in six patients.
