Abstract
- A 77-year-old woman developed leukocytoclastic vasculitis after receiving a vaccination for influenza. She had a history of lymphoma and was undergoing immunosuppressant drug therapy with sirolimus and mycophenolate-mofetil. The woman experienced joint pain, diarrhea, and fever after the vaccination, and later developed painful erythematous nodules on her arms and legs. A biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of leukocytoclastic vasculitis, which was attributed to the combination of the influenza vaccine and the immunosuppressant drugs. Treatment with prednisone resulted in complete resolution of the condition. [Extracted from the article]
