Abstract

The article takes a look at research about the risks and potential health benefits of vitamin supplements. The vitamin supplements include vitamin A and beta-carotene, vitamin B6 or pyridoxine, vitamin B12 or cobalamin, biotin or vitamin B7, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, folate or vitamin B9, vitamin K, niacin or vitamin B3, pantothenic acid or vitamin B5, riboflavin or vitamin B2, and thiamin or vitamin B1.
