Abstract

A 57-year-old woman developed foreign body granuloma after receiving a dermal filler injection of polymethylmethacrylate. She also experienced a lack of efficacy from the COVID-19 vaccine, as she tested positive for COVID-19 despite receiving a booster dose. The woman received treatment with steroids and fluorouracil for the granulomas, which resulted in mild improvement. Histology confirmed the presence of foreign body granuloma secondary to polymethylmethacrylate, and further treatment led to improvement. [Extracted from the article]
