Abstract
- A 65-year-old woman with metastatic breast cancer developed acute myocarditis while being treated with gedatolisib. She had previously received chemotherapy with doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, and paclitaxel, but experienced lack of efficacy. Three days prior to presentation, she started taking gedatolisib and subsequently experienced tachycardia and dyspnea. Tests revealed ST elevation on ECG, elevated troponin levels, and findings consistent with acute myocarditis on cardiac imaging. The patient was discharged with a low dose of beta-blockers and plans for close follow-up. [Extracted from the article]
