Abstract
- A 58-year-old woman developed myocarditis while being treated with durvalumab for large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the lung. She also experienced lack of efficacy during treatment with methylprednisolone for myocarditis, as well as vasopressor and inotropic support for vasoplegic shock. The woman presented to the emergency department with altered mental status, hypotension, and fatigue. She was diagnosed with durvalumab-associated myocarditis and received treatment with methylprednisolone and abatacept. However, her condition worsened, leading to acute liver and renal failure, and she ultimately passed away. [Extracted from the article]
