Abstract

The purpose of this research was to gauge the food habits and assess the students' level of understanding of the risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle among universities in Chennai and Kancheepuram. High levels of automation, measurement of food consumption, and other criteria were used to assess the 402 samples that were collected. In order to learn more about how sedentary lifestyles are induced among college students, we utilised a Chi-square test in SPSS with a G power of 80%. Using highly automated facilities and ordering food and goods may make students in urban regions more sedentary, the research revealed, compared to students in rural locations. Students from rural regions had a higher level of awareness and understanding on the topic of dietary quantification than their urban counterparts. The 0.796 result for the insignificance coefficient indicates that the differences between the data are not significant. The larger sample size of the survey's replies suggests statistical significance. We inferred that increased sedentary behaviour is associated with greater reliance on automated facilities from the results of a novel statistical study. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
