Abstract

Parking is a very common problem observed in today's world with everyone using vehicles. Conventional parking systems are generally manual and requires human intervention for the whole parking process. New trends in technology related to smart parking systems are emerging, but they generally have a cubic structure and occupies a lot of space. We aim to solve these problems by reducing the amount of space by changing the structure while also reducing the recovery time of the vehicle to make the parking process faster. The rudimentary idea for the cylindrical tower-like structure was brainstormed in 2D and then modelled in 3D using various tools like extrude, extruded cut, linear and circular pattern and many other features to create a model using Solid Works.
