Abstract

The article summarizes the book "An approach to educational equity in Mexico through effective public primary schools" coordinated by Giovanna Valenti. The book analyzes the importance of schools in the learning of socioeconomically and culturally disadvantaged students. It focuses on teacher involvement and the quality of instruction as key factors for student performance. It also highlights the importance of promoting the integral development of students and adding value to their learning.
