Abstract

Low-protein diets are related to China's animal production and international trade, and are particularly important for maintaining the sustainable development of China's demestic animal. This paper reviews the research progress of crude protein reduction, ideal protein amino acid balance mode, amino acid supplement types, and standardize ideal digestible amino acid parameters of feed raw materials involved in the formulation technology of low-protein diets for broilers. In the case of limiting amino acids, the crude protein in the broiler diet can be reduced by about 2.5 percentage points. Adding protease or phytase can reduce the crude protein by 0.5 and 1 percentage points, and the low protein diet should be paid attention to the electrolyte balance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
