Abstract

The article reports on the lawsuit filed by voice actors Paul Skye Lehrman and Linnea Sage against Lovo, the startup that created the voice of an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered talking chatbot, for illegally using their voices to create technology that compete with their voice work and violating trademark law and state privacy laws. It informs the claim of Lehrman and Sage that anonymous Lovo employees paid them for voice clips without telling them how the clips would be used
