Abstract

One of the robust uses of linear programming is known as assignment problem. This is a special case of the transportation problem. Assignment problem manages the inquiry about how to dole out n items to m different articles in an injective style in the most ideal way. Mostly, researchers found numerous applications of Assignment problems in real world which are: Production planning, Telecommunication, VLSI design, Economics, etc. In this paper, we made an effort to solve assignment problems solved by new proposed method by Maximization Assignment Problem (MAP) by A.N. Jasim [17], Method of Solving Extension Interval (MSEI), Average Total Opportunity Cost Method (ATOC), New Approach to Zero Suffix Method (NAZs), Method by E. R. Wulan et al. [22] and compare it with the existing method. Some real-life examples are carried out which are related to profit maximization of assignment model to check validity of Assignment model and compared it graphically. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
