Since 1907, the HGMEL had nurses with empirical practice training, but it was not until 2002, that it was recognized as a professional practice, so it is necessary to develop MCE that integrates a theoretical framework through Nursing science and a methodological framework. through care practice. The MCE has integrated new elements in accordance with the professional evolution of Nursing and international, national, sectoral and institutional changes regarding the quality and safety of care, which are documented in the Clinical Record Formats.
