Abstract

The article offers information on using lentivirus-based massively parallel reporter assays (lentiMPRAs) combined with deep learning to evaluate candidate gene regulatory elements. Topics include the identification of sequences exhibiting enhancer activity; the discovery of variants associated with psychiatric disorders showing differential enhancer activity; and the training of a deep learning model to predict nucleotide changes' effects on enhancer function.
