Abstract
- The article discusses the presence of neutrophilic skin diseases and autoinflammatory skin diseases, which are examples of innate immune diseases in human skin. Neutrophilic dermatoses, characterized by neutrophils invading affected skin, include various skin disorders such as acneiform papules, pustular lesions, and neutrophilic plaques. Autoinflammatory diseases, on the other hand, are clinical cases with genetic abnormalities and systemic inflammation. Cutaneous manifestations in these diseases often include pustules, acne, and other epidermal and follicular alterations. The article highlights the role of neutrophilic microabscesses in these diseases and the potential involvement of keratinocytes and follicular epithelial cells in immune responses.
