Abstract

This article provides a review of the use of Janus Kinase inhibitors (JAKi) in the treatment of various types of scarring alopecia. It discusses the potential benefits of JAKi therapy in improving symptoms and hair regrowth in patients with conditions such as lichen planopilaris, central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia, folliculitis decalvans, frontal fibrosing alopecia, and dissecting cellulitis of the scalp. The article acknowledges the need for further research to fully understand the effectiveness and potential side effects of JAKi in this context. Overall, JAKi therapy shows promise but more investigation is required. [Extracted from the article]
