Abstract
- This article discusses the treatment of interstitial lung disease (ILD) accompanied by anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 (MDA5)-positive dermatomyositis. The early diagnosis of ILD is crucial due to its rapid progression and life-threatening nature. Treatment options include Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors, plasmapheresis, and triple immunosuppressive therapy with glucocorticoids, calcineurin inhibitors, and intravenous cyclophosphamide. The article emphasizes the importance of careful monitoring for infections and adverse events during intensive immunosuppressive treatments. The efficacy of these treatments is supported by growing evidence, although further research is needed. [Extracted from the article]
