Abstract

This article presents a new method for synthesizing 2,4-disubstituted oxazoles, which are important compounds with pharmaceutical and therapeutic activities. The authors describe a simple and efficient procedure using readily available materials and a copper catalyst. They successfully synthesized oxazoles with different functional groups in moderate to good yields. The method has potential applications in drug synthesis and ligand synthesis.
