Abstract

This article provides an overview of the development of electronic journalism in Algeria, specifically focusing on the transition from print media to electronic media. The study examines the political, economic, technological, and media aspects of each stage. It concludes that electronic journalism has gained prominence in Algeria, particularly due to the widespread use of smartphones and social media platforms. The article also discusses the challenges faced by electronic journalism in Algeria, such as technical issues and a lack of websites. Additionally, it explores the experiences of national newspapers in adopting electronic journalism and highlights the factors contributing to its development, including technology, legal regulations, economic challenges, and the influence of the Arab electronic press on public opinion.
