An interview with Sheila Walker, director of Afrodiaspora Global LLC and chair of the international academic council of the Pan-African Heritage Museum, is presented. She discussed her journey into understanding the African diaspora, her academic career, activism, and efforts in creating curricular materials about Afro Latinos to rectify Eurocentric distortions of history in Latin America.
