Abstract

A retrospective case series of four patients, three men and one woman aged 45-51 years, were described who experienced various toxicities and lack of efficacy during treatment with immunosuppressants and antirheumatics. The patients developed conditions such as histoplasma tenosynovitis, dermatomyositis, and undifferentiated connective tissue disease. Despite receiving medications such as prednisone, mycophenolate, methotrexate, hydroxychloroquine, and adalimumab, the patients did not experience improvement or had adverse reactions. The cases highlight the complexities and challenges of treating these conditions and the need for further research and alternative treatment options. [Extracted from the article]
