Abstract
- An 82-year-old man developed fulminant myocarditis while being treated with nivolumab for oesophageal carcinoma. He presented with agonal breathing and altered mental status, and it was discovered that he had received his second dose of nivolumab therapy three days prior. The man experienced conduction system disease and high sensitivity troponin levels, leading to the diagnosis of nivolumab-induced fulminant myocarditis. He was treated with high-dose steroids and required a pacemaker for complete heart block. [Extracted from the article]
