Abstract
- The article examines the commodification of personal data and argues against using antitrust law as a regulatory tool for protecting privacy. It asserts that the market for personal data is inherently noxious, and subjecting privacy to market values can exacerbate social inequalities. It suggests that privacy regulation should stand independently from market forces.
