Abstract
- This letter to the editor responds to a study on the relationship between patient position and stone-free rates in retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS). The authors commend the study for addressing an important aspect of patient positioning but raise a few points for further discussion. They suggest that larger, multicenter trials with more diverse populations are needed to validate the reported benefits. They also recommend specifying the timing of postoperative assessments and including long-term follow-up data to evaluate the sustainability of the observed benefits. Additionally, the authors suggest considering a broader demographic representation to enhance the generalizability of the findings. [Extracted from the article]
