Abstract

This article explores the benefits of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach in managing complex airway conditions in adults. The study focused on patients with diagnoses such as subglottic stenosis, tracheal stenosis, and airway cancer. The MDT meetings involved specialists from different medical fields, and the study found that this collaborative approach led to improved patient care and decision-making. The article also emphasizes the importance of further research and incorporating patient perspectives in future MDT meetings. The MDT model described in the article can be applied to other healthcare centers to enhance the management of complex airway diseases. [Extracted from the article]
