Abstract

The field planting of the experiment with pre-soaked ears was carried out in the fields of the Institute of Seed Production and Agricultural Technologies - a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution FNATS VIM (Ryazan region), located in the forest-steppe zone of the non-chernozem zone of the Central region of the Russian Federation in 2021-2023. The growth stimulants Biosil, Zircon and liquid concentrate of potassium humate were studied in the experiment. The object of research is a new variety of spring barley, Lyuboyar. It was established that the vegetative mass increased according to the phases of barley development with the use of growth stimulants and humic preparation: in the tillering phase by 102.8-113.1%; exit into the tube by 106.7-109.9%; heading by 109.9-111.5% relative to the control. The maximum values of vegetative mass, which negatively affected grain productivity (r = 0.658), were noted when ears were soaked in potassium humate. The use of growth stimulants and a humic preparation increased, in comparison with the control, the length of the ear by 107.1-110.6%, the number of grains in the ear by 108.4-113.4%, the weight of grain per ear by 112.8-117, 3%, weight of 1000 grains by 104.8-108.5%. The experimental variant with the use of Zircon has the highest indicators for these elements, having an ear length of 9.4 cm, the number of grains per ear being 27.0 pieces, and grain weight per ear being 1.56 g, which have a significant relationship with the resulting productivity (r = + 0.718...+0.814). When assessing the technological qualities of the resulting grain, the effectiveness of the use of growth stimulants and a humic preparation on the accumulation of protein in the grain was revealed in comparison with the control by 106.6-111.5%. The maximum indicators of grain productivity from a harvested colony were recorded on the growth stimulator Zircon - 119.9 g, the minimum - on Potassium Humate - 93.2 g. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
