Due to the growth in electricity consumption, the load on power auto-transformers is growing, this leads to their breakdown, and at the moment, the replacement of existing power auto-transformers is becoming the most acute problem. Of the main reasons for the breakdown of power autotransformers is their deterioration. According to studies, today in Uzbekistan 50-60% of power autotransfonners operate with an expired service life, therefore, this article considers a technical assessment of the state of the power autotransformer at the Fayzabod substation in normal and emergency mode.
