Abstract

Broadband printed-dipole antennas have gained significant attention in 4G and 5G smartphone applications due to their compact size, wide bandwidth, and compatibility with printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication processes. These antennas are commonly used to support various wireless communication bands and enable reliable connectivity in smartphones. In this work, the basic requirements for antenna design have been taken into account for designing a broadband printed-dipole antenna for 4G/5G smartphone applications involves addressing several key aspects. Here are some considerations, challenges, and recent developments in this field Over the operational bands of frequencies of (3.4–3.8 GHz) and (5.79–5.97 GHz), the single-element antenna produces a |S11| better than-10 dB [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
