Abstract

This article recounts the author's experiences camping in Rocky Mountain National Park throughout the four seasons. The author initially encountered a snowstorm during their first camping trip, but was inspired to continue camping in the same spot for each season after reading a book about spending time in nature. They describe encountering wildlife, such as forest fairies and elk bugling, and appreciating the changing landscape, such as the golden aspen leaves in the fall. The author reflects on the beauty and solitude they found in the park, as well as the challenges they faced, such as cold weather and deep snow. Despite the difficulties, the author values the unique experiences and memories they gained from their camping trips. [Extracted from the article]
