The article presents the implementation of a low fruit diet model in three species of primates under human care. Health problems associated with inadequate diets in primates, such as obesity and gastrointestinal issues, have been reported. The proposed feeding model replaces fruit with fibrous foods such as vegetables and forage. Twenty individuals were selected to evaluate the impact of the model on their health, and an increase in consumption and an improvement in the primates' coat condition and behavior were observed.
